Ags, thanks for reminding me of this—so appropriate for last night’s game! Murph was unique and a gentleman, that’s for sure.
The point about last night is that the Mets won–and it’s that bottom line that counts. Sure, I had that sick feeling that Matt mentions more than once, when it got way too close, but hey, that’s baseball!
It’s a shame Jose Reyes isn’t in the All Star game, but let’s do what we can to get David Wright there.
