Tom Glavine described his pain as not quite Devastating.
tom glavine blames injury on reyes and milledge having fun during game 161 last year
Anyone else as happy as I am that Glavine decide to sign with the Braves and end his career there? If Glavine re-signed with the Mets, possibly no Johan……
I’m happy because we got Ike Davis and Brad Holt and they’ve gotten next to nothing for their heartwarming reunion…
But if Glavine would have been a reason not to get Santana, there’s no hope for this organization.
If Davis or Holt turn into anything of consequence (while a long shot) that will go down as one of the worst free agent signings in modern history.
not even close. it’s a bad one. but i can think of like 10 worse than that one right off the top of my head.
I don’t care about Johan or Holt or Davis or anyone else for that matter. The only reason I’m glad Tom Glavine is gone is because of his last third of an inning as a New York Met. Easily the worst performance in team history, and that includes Marvelous Marv.
