Craig Carton is the sole reason why I have stopped listening to WFAN.

Kind of like how Scott Ferrall is the sole reason why I’ve stopped watching SNY for anything other than Met games. He, too, knows nothing about sports and acts like he does, and has the most annoying voice/persona in the history of broadcast television to boot. Great combo.
Nice job Matt. I just logged in and turned it on at 8:06 am so missed the first bit, but you did a good job on what I did hear.
I personally love Carton…he isn’t extremely knowledgable but is funny, light hearted, and seems to care a lot about the teams he follows…he gets on guys, he gives props…
I think him and Boomer have a great dynamic and I really wish he was there for the interview…
Either way, I thought Matt did a good job…hopefully he gets a little relationship going with WFAN…maybe even Mike and Dog…ha
Great job, Matt. I thought Boomer was pushing quite a bit on the Reyes thing, but you did a good job in standing up for the season he’s having.
I love Boomer and Carton just because of the passion they show for their teams (Mets and Rangers). Aren’t there enough “experts” out there… the dudes are just funny and passionate.
Ain’t nuthin wrong with that.
