Ted, what’s with your sleeves covering half your hand? You should invest in some shirts that fit a little better. Trust me, you’re gonna like the way you look.

    • hot stove chef says:

But you did a good job. You didn’t seem nervous at all. Not trying to be a jerk. I realize you’re not Barry Melrose with 600 suits in your closet.

    • DK says:

Ted, a little gel in that hair couldnt hurt either…

  2. J0eSmiTh says:

good work ted, the biggest guy to the mets success has been Ollie, and without Warthen he doesnt throw this well.

  3. DK says:

Saw this last night, Laurie was right on point about letting players celebrate and enjoy the game. That means keep the party going Jose.

    • Deadpanwalking says:

Yeah, agreed. I don’t have a problem with Reyes having a little fun, or even Victorino grandstanding. It’s good to see a tough inter-division rivalry, and the more excited and intense the players get, the better.

Too many talking heads on SNY these days

    • Genesis Does says:

I like the talking head shows. Its better then 8 hours of Geico Sportsnite

      • Deadpanwalking says:

Or the shows that are about a bunch of guys arguing at high volume. There’s a bunch of them, Loudmouths, The Yelling Hour, Argument Time, Mouth Explosion, etc. It cracks me up when each host is forced by producers to come up with an opposing view to their cohorts, and you can tell they actually don’t have that view and actually agree and it’s obvious that their hart isn’t in it, yet they must argue. Loudly. Haha.

        • murdertron3000 says:

          Friggin hilarious. The Yelling Hour.

Totally true, too. I got to hang out on an Around the Horn studio, and it was all pretty arbitrary as to who argues what point.

Lori showed Ted who is daddy was… or momma… lol

Ted, you should have thrown caution to the wind too dude. Don’t hold back your true Mets colors… You know they’re going all the way, SAY IT!

On another note to the posters above me… I like the talking heads depending on who the heads are. Some of them are pure amateurs who have no business being asked their opinions. Others are pretty informative, make great points and are entertaining to watch.

  6. metsrbest says:

Damn is that Lori Rubinson one ugly looking woman. Do something with those eyebrows, please!!!!

    • beltran the warrior says:

why don’t you post a picture of yourself up for all to criticise?

    • GravediggerHebner says:

Her appearance is irrelevant and subjective. I give her kudos for being interested in and able to discuss sports without being handed information, unlike some of her allegedly more attractive female sports reporting colleagues.

  7. Deadpanwalking says:

When did Fred Savage start working for SNY? I’m kidding, of course, great job, Ted, very good points.

  8. LucaAbrusci says:

Doesnt Ted look like that kid who got picked on in high school…what a goofball.

    • DK says:

lol, definitely stuffed in a few lockers…

    • GravediggerHebner says:

He does, but all those jocks who picked on him and stuffed him into lockers in high school failed to “make it” and now work minimum wage jobs while Ted is on TV giving his opinion about the very thing his HS enemies failed at. Irony is a cold b1tch.

  9. Zoe says:

Come on–when do people talk about Joe Benigno’s appearance? Leave anything physical about Lori alone.

    More Ted Berg!!

Somebody ought to put one in that Philthy radio announcer’s neck. What a putz. Love to hear the audio of him when Victorino stood on homeplate for 4 seconds clapping demonstrably at the Mets’ dugout on Tuesday night.
