I mean most of the guys on that list come with red flags. Burnett and Sheets are serious injury risks and Burnett is struggling mightily this year. CC I think is pretty much out of the question I just don't see the front office giving out another huge contract to to a pitcher, especially one with the decline/injury risk he has with his shape. Wolf has been mediocre. And Dempster is sort of a wild card. I guess it would depend on the deal. I would love for them to bring back Perez and/or sign Garland. Plus it would be nice to have starting pitching depth so we don't have to rely on the Brandon Knights and Claudio Vargases of the world for spot starts. I'd have no problem trading him, if it's for a player that will fill a need past this year, whether we have to resign him or he's already under contract.
