Good luck finding another Mets blog or website that even comes close to what we get here from Matt & crew. I hardly even go to Mets.com anymore thanks to this site. I don’t think it will matter anyway, as I don’t think this sponsorship will negatively affect the content on the site at all.

First, congratulations to Matt, I’m sure this’ll raise the $$ value of your enterprise. Yet second, GEICO is still a company with which, by definition, you pay money to gamble over your own fate. I hope it doesn’t interfere with objectivity, especially after the SNY pro-Mets bite out of the pie.

So where did you plant your website? Last time I checked, a thing had to be alive in order for someone to “grow” it. Hope it doesn’t grow to such a degree that it takes over the whole web.
