For once, I'm glad he did. The asking price for most of these guys was way too high, especially for the ones that would basically be only a two-month rental. I'm pretty confident Omar will pick-up a couple of missing pieces off waivers, they won't be sexy, block-buster deals but they will help the team fill in some holes. Good job Omar. He sniffed around for players that could potentially help us out, he tested the waters when it can to the big ticket players, he even tried thinking outside the box, but at the end of the day there was nothing he could do that wouldn't have been irresponsible.
