The question was whether it would be considered a tax write off - to which the answer is "yes". It's a considerable enough amount to claim separately on the return (unless you're making a ton of money). My group has seats in Loge section four, behind home plate (not boxes). We've been offered something in the Excelsior level, close to third base.
