I am standing on the field at Shea Stadium watching Ryan Church take batting practice, and he looks strong, confident and health. In fact, he just hit a ball in to the Budweiser section of the scoreboard.
I can’t help but sit here and think of what a difference he will make for this team’s lineup when he is healthy enough to return.

I’m with TMU. Until he’s actually in the line-up, for more than a week, I’m not going to get excited. Really I think he should have been shut down for the season.
He still might be. But really I’d prefer he was healthy and playing.
