If listened to Jerry Manuel after the game and he wasn’t exactly jumping for joy. He was very frustrated and worried by the performance of the bullpen. He doesn’t have the good fortune to live in never-never land and spend his time criticizing other posts on a blog.

A win’s a win, but no one should be happy about how the Mets won this game.

And by the way is Omar even alive? Not that these would be great pickups but in the last two days, Hernandez goes to the Rockies, and today Giles is about to be traded to the Red Sox, Eyre signed with the Phillies and Chad Bradford got traded to the Rays.

These are players that would give us depth in positions we are seriously lacking. I don’t know maybe the players didn’t get to us on the waiver wire, but come on man wake up.

And Saturday Stokes is starting instead of Niese. Stokes is a proven mediocre pitcher in the majors while Niese could give this team a shot in the arm.
