Dude, find something better to do with your time than an Aaron Heilman hate site.....i'm not a huge fan of his, but at the same time....get a life and give the guy a break!

I for one, am glad to see the Mike and the Angry Puppy show end on WFAN. Russo's voice is like nails through a chalkboard....and Fatcessa is even worse. Now, we have two afternoon shows dedicated to the New York Yankees with Fatcessa on WFAN and Kay on 1050. However, WFAN will survive this because they're making money no matter what time of day....everyone thought the morning show was gonna tank once Imus lost it and its still going strong.....the station's ratings have always been relatively soft compared to other stations, but its also the type of audience that's listening as well. It makes a huge difference. So don't worry....the Mets aren't leaving WFAN (why would they? it's the strongest signal in the northeast!) and WFAN will stay the same station it always has been.

Why exactly are we discussing Rush Limbaugh on a Mets blog? He's not even a baseball fan!

To Mr. Heilmansucks: Now that you are busy selling your anti-Mets Heilmansucks T-shirts, I was wondering if you had any leftover Pelfreysucks, Perezsucks, Delgadosucks, Martinezisfinished or similar T-shirts left over from last year available at a deep discount?

If you travel around the country ( I used to work in the TV biz and travelled like crazy), you realize how good these guys were.

If you hear anybody outside of New York (short of the great Eddie Andelman in Boston), there is no absolutely no good sports radio matching Mike & Maddog, Joe&Evan, Carton/Boomer, Richard Neer and Schmoozie.

Everybody outside of NY is a rank amateur. And outside of Brandon Tierney on 1050 ESN most of ESPN are rank amateurs or Yankee crack sniffers

Among radio executives and media critics, Somers is considered the master of the radio medium.

its amazing but FAN was close to firing him in the mid 90's because they were tired of his schtick.

But George Young (the George Young who brought my Giants back to 2 Super Bowl Championships with Parcells) called the station and said that he was a big Schmooze fan. That saved the Schmooze and now he is the underrated superstar of the FAN

It was very touching to hear Tony Russo.

And I feel Chris and Mike's sadness today was heartfelt and sincere.

I know Mike is pompous and Chris is missing a few sandwiches short of a picnic, but I miss them already

Today, Mike was solo...I caught some of it o Yes, and Mike looked really depressed. During the open of the show, Mad Dog called in, and it was very emotional, with Russo clearly crying...

Though I found the two to be ignorant toward the Mets, they had a fantastic show. Listen to them talk about sports other than baseball and you'll see.
