I really love the comments on this blog sometimes.

Marlon Anderson, when healthy, is one of the best pinch-hitters in baseball. He played hurt all year, explaining in part his subpar performance. Anyone who would not want to add a healthy Marlon Anderson for the stretch run simply does not understand baseball.

And again, in two weeks there are expanded rosters. Having Anderson back, along with Castillo, and Nixon, will only help. These are veteran presences. Castillo has 2 World Series rings. Nixon has one. But if you really think the presence of Nick Evans means all of that experience is useless, little I can do to disabuse you of that notion.
