If he is anywhere close to where he was in the 1st half, this is almost like trading for a great player late in the year. It also makes the Mets a better defensive team and puts Chavez back on the bench making that stronger. As long as we give him the appropriate rest and he doesn't go in head first to second base, this is a big help. Awesome news.
