On Wednesday, Johan Santana will face Kyle Kendrick.

“It’s not going to be easy…We know that from last year. We’ve been saying all year that this is a new year. Now is our chance to prove it, in games like the ones we have coming up…Our goal is to win the division, just like it’s been all year, just like it was last year. We remember what happened, we’ve talked about it and now we can do something about it if we keep playing the way we can play. If we do that, we’ll be fine…We’ve already fought through other things this season. Last year, we didn’t really have to do that. This is a different team.”
…i feel very business-like about this series…i’m of the ‘heads-down, just win,’ mentality, at least for right now…it’s just two games…if it was four, i’d be a bit more pumped knowing more was on the line…but with just two games, and still 30 games left, i’m not feeling the expected level of anxiety that i normally have…
