It’s like reading a blog, but slower and with more audio.
Pedro! Pedro! Pedro!
By the way, what is Hamels scared of?
Maybe the Phils figure the games just come down to the bullpens anyway, why waste Hamels?
We have a 4 game set w/ the Cubs. No offense, but would need him in that series more, I think.
I’m not really counting on a Mets win tonight. But tomorrow is a must win for sure. Especially with Santana going. Screw the Yankees, hopefully they’re dead by now. Go Sox!
I am very happy to see Pedro starting this game tonight. I can see him dialing it up for about 7 innings.
As long as Pedro has his command he’ll be golden but if he leaves stuff over the plate he’s gonna get burned. But I can see something like 6 or 7 innings with 1 or 2 runs. I can’t see him shutting them out though. The bullpens gonna have a big role tonight. Hopefully Santana will give us at least 8 tomorrow.
Your username made me laugh pretty hard
simple and juevenile…well done
Do you start Evans or Tatis, ot both?
I’d leave church in there, and play Tatis instead of Evans with Church in the 2 hole. Church can hit lefties just as well as righties. I don’t like the RF platoon much w/ church in Tatis. I think Church should start everyday, and Murphy and Tatis should Platoon in left. Have Evans off the bench. Church should play everyday if he’s healthy.
Game 1 Lineup vs. Philly. Anyone disagree that this is Pedro’s biggest Mets Start to this point??
Reyes (ss)
Easley (2b)
Wright (3b)
Beltran (cf)
Delgado (1b)
Tatis (lf)
Church (rf)
Castro (c)
Martinez (rhp)
That is probably the best offensive lineup the Mets can put out there. And yes I agree… This one is a big one for Pedro. Jamie Moyer is always tough for us to hit for some reason.
How about last years games in September?
why is Easley in the 2 hole? and is this the real line up or the one you want Jerry to put out there?
actual lineup
I’m good with this line-up. For some reason I feel very confident about this game.
P.S. Anyone notice Pedro is growing his Jerry-Curl again? Maybe he is like Samson…
Castillo actually has pretty good number against Moyer, albeit in only 14 abs (.286/.412./.429 — 4 hits, 2 2b, 2 bb).
I hope Wright and Delgado remember that they absolutely own Moyer tonight.
Only one word can describe tonight’s Mets lineup: Solid
