The Philadelphia Fun Police are at it again.
According to David Lennon and Wallace Matthews at Newsday, Jimmy Rollins made another reference to the home run celebrations by the Mets.
Rollins was quoted as saying:
“We don’t talk about celebrations, we just notice them … Nobody in particular. The whole team, you know.”

Actually, no…nobody noticed. As Howard was gawking, everyone was staring at Jose Reyes waiting for him to do something “immature.”
dwright5, i agree. dont get me wrong ryan howard can hit it out of any ball park but i think its hilarious when he does his little lean back walk thing out of the box on a ball that would be an out at my High School field.
He does that a lot. He drops the bat and gazes at the path of the ball. I’m waiting for the day he gets nailed at 1B for standing there admiring a ball that doesn’t quite clear the wall.
We need Henry Roengardner (sp) to throw his a** out at the plate from the left field bleachers next time.
