hopeful that it will be straightened out, but not impossible to comprehend. There are ways to clear it up, FYI. And there is also no reason to have the award decided by the ‘criteria-makers’ after the playoffs are over. I vaguely remember hearing of a playoff round award as well.

Simply put its just a bunch of lawyers not wanting to look like fools since they dont really know what they are voting for. Everyone has spasms over the scenario where a non-playoff team member won it like back in 1987. Which wasnt so bad since Hawk did deserve it.

somehow I feel that this division is going to come down to Beltran and Jimmy Rollins. They both made those statements at the beginning of the year, and now we get to see who lives up to the hype. They’re both had mediocre seasons, even though Beltran has had a much better season then Rollins, but this is the time for Beltran to come up big and stick it to JRoll.

All of us who were calling for Feliciano against Jacobs this is what Manual had to say in the post game.

‘He didnt want to go to the lefty because the only pitcher left at that point was Figueroa. And the hit by Cantu was a grounder that got through, so he didnt think he should hold that against Ayala when it wasnt a line drive.’

Apparently the foul bomb by Cantu didnt matter…

You are prob. right but we have tried everyone else so I would try that next.

As for the bridge, I agree that’s very important too. However, I think in a clean inning Heilman can do decent in that role too.

You are right, anyone can say whatever they want, and I should stay away from here.

The constant parade of brutal negativity is not fans venting while enjoying the game. It is folks with serious deficiencies trying to feel better about themselves by childishly criticizing successful pro athletes.
