Maybe every one of them has been a stellar baserunner, but I don't think that's the case. If Jose plays at the same or higher level than he has thus far but doesn't win the MVP, I think other reasons would be the cause: low power numbers relative to the rest of the field, not winning the batting title, splitting some votes with Delgado/Wright, etc. As long as they're playing baseball after Sept. 28, though, it doesn't bother me in the least if these guys don't bring home that award. Reyes could be a consideration though but his stupidity while running the bases at times may cost him.
