OK, I can hardly believe I"m about to say this but...

Although I'm not one of them, I know there are McCain supporters among the people who read this blog... I love talking politics and would ordinarily never try to stop people from doing so, but even so... Maybe we should stick to baseball talk here? The few times I've seen the discussion here veer into politics, it's never gone well.

Just sayin'.

Yup. Life is more than great. It's awesome. We're up 3 and got a 3 game set coming up with the Phillies while being on a 4 game win streak and winning 6 out of 7. We got Big Pelf and Johan going in this series. Beltran's played awesome through injuries. It's not just the Mets. It's been a great last few weeks. Mets keep winning. Brett Farve gets traded to the Jets. McCain is dumb enough to pick a VP with a pregnant daughter lol How much better can life get in day-to-day life?

I agree, Kiners. We, as Mets fans, should always have nothing worse to complain about than the time it takes for the next blog to appear on MetsBlog!

Like I said over the weekend, I would prefer to be given notice if the MetsBloggers are, essentially, going to take the weekend off, like they did over the Labor Day weekend (no need for me to waste my time checking it out, then), but the people who get all bent out of shape because the post-game blog isn't up 3 seconds after the last out is recorded need to back off. Especially if they are just going to complain about the typos that result from the guys rushing to post something.

Apparently Petey is having problems with his flexibility and is not a definite for Saturday. Who do you think starts on Saturday, if he can't? Figgy?
