Very well said. I hate this motherfaulker Heilman. I would love to pummel his face in. I don't care if he ends up becoming a Cy Young winner after we get rid of him, he has done way too much damage to this team and I can't take it anymore. Get rid of this lame, headcase, p.o.s. once and for all!!!

Whatever happens in the offseason is going to be predicated on what we do if we get to the postseason. If we win the whole thing expect to re-sign Ollie. And to tell you the truth, Ollie may be the best pitching contract out there not named CC. That is because he is still young and you ought to get another three good years minimum out of him.

The Cubs work for these two as they need a 2b and Heilmann will be close to home (Notre Dame) grad. I think you may need to trade Aaron to get rid of Luis. What we get in return I don't know. Perhaps some bullpen help.

I agree with that...I would rather go with someone like Jon Garland...I wonder why he isnt getting much talk around here?

He pitches a lot of innings and gets through games...I think it would be good to have him as the #4 or 5 next year.

I tend to like Heilman more so than other Mets fans, but to me, Heilman is still far too important to this team to simply trade away. Yes, he's had a bad year, but this is his first bad year since he's moved to the pen. Everyone flipped out like he was terrible last year, but look at his second half. He was great. This year, he struggled mightily early, and while he has gotten better, has still been disappointing.

I think he deserves another chance next year. He still has the stuff to be a good reliever.

Mmm, I guess by default that would have to go to Joe Smith. The rest of the pen is pretty much a bunch of mullions.

I think that is too much. F-Mart and Niese are both top prospects. Church will hit about 30 HR in a full season at Coors.

Holliday is a great player, but there are still questions about how good he will be away from "the hitter-friendly confines". You could do a Church and Niese deal for a bonafide #2 or #3 starter. But, I'm not sure about Holliday and Taveras. Taveras is an outfield version of Luis Castillo.
