And 1977. And 1978. And for the fact that he and his loser franchise - that of the 1 Championship in 120 years, wouldn't even have the one if Pete Rose didn't show up and show those losers how to win in 1980. Mike Schmidt was a great player, but he should realize he was stuck with a loser franchise that always will be a loser franchise. And in the end, it's the Phillies who should remember last year, which would have been yet another example of them falling short if we didn't hand it to them.
