As always, "Larry" keeps it real. Likewise, when #10's time does come to an end in MLB, if I'm there for his last appearance I will cheer too. Unlike a certain redneck reliever, any animosity towards Jones only stems from him killing us at the plate-and the "put the Yankee stuff on" comment. WHen the Braves came to town for the first post 9/11 game, Chipper led the way in praising NYC and the Mets fans. BTW, my last Shea game was August 21 (Pelfrey's CG)-and the highlight of the night? Chipper's throwing error!! You could hear the "LAAAAAAAAARRRRY" chants all the way to the 7 train. I wouldn't have been surprised if he tipped his cap ala Darryl to the Red Sox fans in '86.
