PLEASE END IT NOW !!! Dont tease us and then break our hearts in the playoffs. We dont have enough to go deep so lets not go at all.. I want to see the CUBBIES win it all. Lets dump the whole pen during the off season and start fresh. We need a closer, a team with no closer is like a car with only three tires. I have no faith that this team can hold a game or win a game after the 7th.

Steve Phillips actually said these same exact words about two or three months ago on ESPN. His whole premise was that the Mets (Wilpons) have fortered this "Open Door" policy where everyone can come to anyone and voice their opinions. In theory it's a good idea, but as Phillips pointed out, you can't have players going around and OVER managers heads. You need to have a tighter control and much more accountability. Phillips basically said that this Mets culture of "Everyone has a right to go to the top with any concerns" has created a culture of back stabbers and no accountability. He said as long as this remains like this the Mets will NEVER reach their potential. Boy, it's sure starting to look like Philips might have something ther.

First you devour some brownies made from the recipe in the 1954 Alice B. Toklas Cook Book. Then it becomes quite apparent that the Mets will run the table. 2008 World Champion New York Mets ---- another brownie please.

I told you guys it was crazy. I just think that constant reminders by the media of making this year different is getting to them. I guess you could say I'm a really sympathetic (or pathetic) fan.
