I have to say I am impressed at the positive vibes tonight…however, we are customers and the company producing this putrid product need to be punished if they do not make the playoffs and don’t go out and rebuild…we all spend too much money and time and emotions for this team to pi$$ it all away

You’re right… It’s been heart breaking. They’ve lost a generation of baseball fans period who can’t handle the stress lol It’s like Syracuse losing 20 percent of it’s population in like seven years… They must have been Mets fans.

I remember someone saying something about the growing Mets fan base. Maybe they’d grow some more with the Yankees playing pitifully if they actually took care of business…

The Mets are living off the 2006 image… Take that season away and I guarantee they’d be in the playoffs these last two years because they’d be hungry.

Wishful thinking brother…the brew crew is playing the Pirates for the next 3. We just have to worry about winning our games. Have to get it together for this last 6 and get in. We just need to get in.

We’re playing about as bad as the Brewers. Not better or worse. Who cares though? Does that mean anything in these last 6? We got 3 against the Cubs at home. They do to. It’s fair game, isn’t it? They have three against the Pirates and we got three against the Marlins, but we’re up one.

It comes down to these final six games. I’ve happier we’re butting heads with the Brewers and not the Phillies, but we can’t expect these Brewers to be any less because anyone can rise to the moment at this point. We have Johan going two more times this season. Trust me, it’ll mean the world.

None of us should bail out. All of us should look at our TV’s or these Mets in person and be as confident as we possibly can be. We’ve made it too far. If we were told be up one game in the Wild Card before the season, we’d probably take it. I know we would on June 17th.

So let’s do it. Forget about last season. Forget about these last 9 games. Forget about everything except for how great these next 6 can be. We’ve seen the Mets come back. The last 3 game losing streak they endured led to a 3 game winning streak. We know they can do it. They just have to hold up for more than 3 this time. Than again, 3 may be all necessary to beat the Brew Crew.
