Many Phillies blogs have talked about it. Maybe it takes a while for ESPN to notice.

3 games in the streak came against Philly last week.

One game his 'hit' was a routine ground ball to first that Howard booted. Scored an error, later in the game it was changed to a 'hit'. Pretty bogus.

LOVE Mex's quote on Gonzalez...

"I feel like hitting a line drive at his head".

Awesome.

Not to mention, the Phillies sweep of the Brewers is why the Mets still lead the WC race.

Some of you should think about that one while you are clammoring for every other team in baseball to help the Mets.

The Mets would be in a hell of a lot worse place right now if the Brewers had taken two of three from the Phillies...

How come we havent heard any Brad Lidge for Cy Young chatter out of Philly? Unaware fans and front office I guess.

With Sabathia cooling and Lincecum pitching for a bad team you would think someone in Philly would have thought of the idea before me...

nah, i'm with metsmad and chan ho. you know kelly johnson is going to come up short in a big spot somewhere along the line. also, gregor blanco and martin prado are going to look like little leaguers. oh, and mike gonzalez will look like mel rojas...for three days anyway.

then, when the nats come in, acta won't even play the guys on their AAA (Washington) roster. Instead, he will go with players from their AA team.

Just because the Phillies take care of their business and the Mets don't is not a reason to blame the Braves for where the Mets are. The Phillies cash in with first and second and nobody out. The Phillies bullpen closes games. It's not the Braves fault that this Mets team consistently does not get hte job done. We have to stop worrying about what other teams do and take control of our own games.

Maybe Cantu has been more clutch. That's just a guess as to why his own teammates would say Cantu has been the MVP.

The Marlins players would know best who is more clutch and valuable than fans, especially fans of other teams.
