i think that this guy is the msot true mets fan out of all of us. looking at the high, optomistic points rather than sulk around. we lost, but hey we oppened shea up with a loss and we closed it with a loss.
we need to make changes and something needs to happen
but still we need to have faith in our mets and look on the bright side

Look….I’m 48 yrs. old,have been a diehard Met fan since the mid 60′s.To me yesterday was old hat!The history of this team is alot of lows sprinkled with a few highs….these are our Mets.I can’t help but love them.
How easy it must be to be a Yankee fan…to have your playoff tickets printed out before the season even starts….to have a history of Dimaggio,Mantle,Ruth,Gehrig.
Forget that I’ll take Seaver,Koosman,Agee,Harrelson…I love this team and always will…I will never give up hope,there is always next year.
The next time we win it all it will be that much sweeter!!

time to get rid of schowenweis,heilman and replace them with jon rauch and brian fuentes make a deal for soria from kansas city and aquire an outfielder with power. And keep an eye on delgado to see how much longer he will last.
