Last Friday afternoon I mentioned to a friend the Pelfrey’s 1st pitch to Ramirez should be high and tight. The 2nd p itch should have been in the same location. I believe in the old Bob Gibson philosophy in the outer 1/3rd of the plate belonging to the pitcher. I didn’t see this from the Mets pitchers and I probably never will. I would have liked to see anger from the Mets over the Marlins actions and words because anger when channel correctly can increase concentration.

Beltran, Wright, Reyes all need to stay. That’s first of all. Second, if the above is true, Piazza should have gone “Guillermo Mota” on Hanley “I’ve won nothing” Ramirez. Third, the first Met to pitch to Ramirez in ’09 had BETTER knock him on his backside. And I don’t mean “brush him back”. HIT HIM.

ALL THE METS HAD TO DO WAS BEAT THE MARLINS IN A SHORT SERIES. NOT EVEN SWEEP THEM JUST TAKE 2 OUT OF 3 AND THEY COULDN’T DO IT. PATHETIC!!!!!!!
