I am still numb.

The bullpen implosion... again... brings to light the problem we've been having all year. Just maybe... maybe.. Omar will get get smart and wipe the whole bullpen clean. The only one I want to see next year is Joe Smith (he's had his ups and downs but he's still young) and maybe Sanchez (he was awesome before his accident, I'd givie him another chance to see what he's got a full year removed from surgery).

Second, I don't know if it has to start with the coaches, but we need to get some people in here that can teach this team some fundamental baseball.. There should be no excuse that a big league team can not score with a man at 3rd and less than two outs.. It's a 86% chance of scoring! With the Mets it's more like 25%!

You don't want to see them slamming things. Impressionable kids are watching and they'll think if it's OK for them to do it, so can I. I coach young kids and know how they watch and listen to everything we say, whether we think they are or not. Sadness was the right emotion.

"WAHHH MY BABY's PREMATURE"??????

WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE.

Look, I've been Sho's biggest detractor since opening day 2007, but for God's sake.

My criticism is Manuel for using him this week with all that going on. By the way, he didn't say "wahh my baby's premature" The Daily News told us that fact.

Some of you people are really disgusting.

He didn't need to pitch. Manuel could have taken him out before he threw a pitch. I honestly couldn't believe that in a game with so much at stake, Manuel left him in.

I have to agree and I felt this way after last season, and really the day that he signed the contract in winter after '06. it was a completely idiotic deal....i know you can't change the past, but i first-guessed this as a terrible move and i'm sure many others did as well. look at his pathetic career ERA's, look at his horrendous '07, and then look at this year...sure, he had what appears to be a decent era, but think of how many of those runs came in big spots, and think of how many inherited runners he let score. and to top it off, this bullpen CANNOT have 2 lefty specialists again. if i keep one of the lefties next year, it is Feliciano.

i don't want to sound unsympathetic, because I understand that what he is going through is tough, and i wish him the best with his child. he just has to go...end of story.
