It's not up to the manager to play doctor. Sure, he probably needed to be monitored so he didn't hurt himself, but both Manuel and Warthon would've been looking for that. The whole thing confused me..he was basically in the same condition before and after teh dL stint, so why'd he go on at all? He definitely had a dominant inning here and there prior to, and had they decided to go right to the bullpen, allow him one inning here and there..who knows. Like HitTheSinkerBall said, he won't be afraid to plunk Rollins in the head. He pissed off a lot of guys in the AL West with his celebrating (read that in ESPN the Magazine) so it would be great to have him on our team.
