To settle all this crap about DWright not being clutch:

He’s hitting .312 career with men-on, .350 career with a man on third, .393 career with bases-loaded, a mind-boggling .447 career with a man on third and less than 2 outs (that’s no small sample, out of 235 plate appearances), and slugging a career .554 in tie games.

And this year: batting .340 in September with 21 RBIs, .333 in extra innings with a .500 OBP, and slugging .493 against the Phillies (not to mention hitting .480 against the Yanks)
Yes, he struck out 61 times with men on this year, which is too much, and he hit .247 with 2 outs and RISP, which is only slightly above average.

Basically, he is a clutch player. I think he overthought things this year, and tried to hit too many homeruns (hence all the strike outs).

Oh, and can ANYONE deny how clutch his DEFENSE is? Has anyone watched the ridiculous plays he’s made all year at third? Especially LATE INNINGS and with men on?

We have the best 3B in the league, to add to the best SS and the best CF.

Oh no, Aaron you too getting stuck on the first part?? OMG!!!! it is really hard to believe only a handful of people understands the concept of trading "the core".

The key word here is TRADE. You TRADE these three guys for more talented players or for equal talent but not infected with 2 collapses which seems to be their problem.

if you destroy the core of an atom what happens, the atom explodes, same here, if you get ride of wright reyes and beltran, this team will implode and will not be over five hundred again
