they all seem to have some type of labeling, perhaps they just all get takin apart at once, cleaned at once and then put back together. im sure there is a method, ther not just going to send you some crap that mismatched and looks terrible.

Ihave been to Camden Yards, Citizen Bank Park, Nats Park, Comerica, PNC Park. They are all great . Just the wider walkways alone are great. The Phillies , Tigers, Pirates have statues for their Hall Of Famers. THe Phillies , I believe have the outline of the old Vet in the parking lot. The Mets should have a statue of Seaver, and Carter, the only two H of F right now. Im sure Piazza will be in the HOF . Shea was a very special place . Tears ran out of my eyes seeing the Video on Youtube of Shea Goodbye, and the replay last night on SNY. The Apple was nice but a Statue of Mr Mets rising up would be a new touch.
Honestly , the scoreboard at Shea was an eyesore. Big BUd ad on what was a usable scoerboard in its prime. I know there will be plenty of ads at Citi Field, but hopefully they will be placed more appropriately. .
I do have some reservations about the seats I bought from shea. How do I know I won't get mis match set. The way the video looks is that they are just taking the fronts and backs off and piling them. I honextly thought they would just take the entire unit out and refurbishing it.

they should outline, the old base paths in yellow under the lines of the parking lot. Nothing like saying im standing where the ball went through buckners legs, or standing at home plate, that would give me the chills.

I think it was all a conspiracy. The Mets had to lose that last game so they could start taking the stadium down in time for opening day. The mets go a month into the playoffs, it throws off all of their plans.

Cleon, they are still selling tickets to the public for those 42,000 seats.

Also, did you not see the approx 10,000 empty sets at Shea during much of the stretch run nor the 20,000-plus empty seats during much of the rest of the year duing weeknight games? The 35,000-plus empty seats in April and May weeknight games?

There will be seats available at Citi. There will be an initial spike in demand to see the new digs....but even so, I guarantee you can get in the building as early as an April series against the Nats or Pirates or whatnot.

Have you been to Safeco, Chase Field, Petco and the like? I have - and trust me, the new digs will be worth it.
