Pedroia, whose been the poster boy for hard nosed players is hittless in 4 games. Longoria who everyone was annointing the next Reggie Jackson went 0-5 with 3 K's and 6 LOB. Juan Rivera is hitting .143. Orlando Cabrera with his 2 rings hit a whole ,125 this playoff. I think too much is made of being clutch or not clutch. Some guys just get hot at the right time. Of course a guy like Alex Rod is different Not ready to dump the core yet...
