To be quite honest I think we’d still have more offense than we had last year despite trading Delgado, we have improve defense, and a very improved bullpen.

As far as F-Rod is concerned, the Mets already have an abundance of pitchers who can give up late inning homeruns in key situations for a lot less $$$

same reason everyone clings to Murphy/Wright/Church

I, for one, like all 4 players and if Murphy and Evans CONTINUE to develop, I would love to see an infield of Wright Reyes Murphy Evans

However, it is pretty clear that there are people here that give a lil extra special love to certain players…

( I think Wilmer Flores may be a dark-horse candidate for 1B in the future though )
