Yes the offense had its let downs but so did the pen. Our only strong point was our sp. Had lidge not been perfect you can make the argument that we could have taken the division. Had the brewers not gotten cc we could have gotten the wc. Bottom line yes the offense could have won some of those games down the stretch but so could the pen. and so did the pen…they both are culprits and you cant dismiss that furioso.
