sorry, pelfrey is never going to be kazmir.

pelfrey is good if he's got his movement on his fastball. otherwise he's just a thrower.

My favorite moment was when all of the Mets fans opinions became irrelevant and you coughed up the NL East again. Go cry with Tim McCarver and the rest of Fox. Your savior Johan had just as many wins as the oldest pitcher in the league (who's still playing this month) Maybe you Mets fans can blog next April when your opinions might matter again. Vic can point all he wants when the games actually matter in October unlike the hotdog Reyes who's auditioning for Dancing with the Stars every April - September. By the way, How did Billy work out for you guys?
P.S.
Do Philladelphia a favor and stay out of it next year. Send your money to the Yankees. The only NY Team that matters.
We might get "crushed" but the Phils are IN in the WS and it sure won't be the Mets playing Sox or Rays.

Really - I just want to see whatever team is more likely to beat the Phillies, win the ALCS. Rays are the Cinderella story but I'm worried about them getting to the WS and winding up like the Rockies last year. Boston is usually a tough team. Either way - go AL !

As I'm a working stiff too, I'm outta here tonight. 5:30am comes way too early.....

Miledge is still a ? so to me, unknown prospect is probably a better description.
Church is not offensively bad - so far, offensively average.
And Schneider - everyone apparently thought his defensive skills were touted better than he showed in '08.
I agree with trs86 - time will tell.
