Probably not type A material but it's because of the weak FA market. The only problem is he is inconsistent. He had only 4 stinkers in 08 and if u minus two of the better stinkers(to be fair) he would go from 5.71 inn./ GS to 5.83 inn./GS. I would sign up for that if the price is reasoable(10 - 12 mil/ yr. for 3 -4 yr). I hadn't really noticed if there were any playoff posts. I just thought that the lack of World Series posts was conspicuous because it happened to be the Mets recent nemesis. I just think that Metsblog being such a credible sports site that they would be obliged to congratulate the world champions, which they did, earlier this morning. After all, those salaries are the reason why it cost so much to see a game. But if they did go all the way then it would be OK, but Perez is not doing his end of the job to get them there.
