From looking at these photos, it looks like citifield has absolutely no foul territory in the outfield. I know it is far away, but take a look at the overhead shots.

Yes, It looks very tight along the lines, somewhat like Fenway, but a bit more foul territory aroud the infield. This probably favors the pitchers a bit.

Ironic, since the bullpen was ripped out sometime in late August.

Sad to see the old girl going down….loved that image of Mike and Tom waving goodbye…I’m very happy the players will get a fancy new field and locker area, but I will miss Shea; oh yes, I will miss it like I miss my youth and the joy of baseball when it was less business and more emotion…

I could be wrong about this, but in the last shot it looks like there are 7 flagpoles set up on the RF plaza. I guess those will be for our 7 playoffs appearances, but honestly, I never liked celebrating the “1999 Wild Card & NLDS Winners.”

Does that mean every time the Mets make the playoffs they are going to install a new flagpole? Seems kinda silly (I know, trolls will insert jokes here).

I kinda liked the simplicity of the 2 Pennants and 2 WS banners flying in CF at Shea. Not that division titles are unimportant, but the other way seems a bit more cluttered.
