According to the Associated Press, Mike Piazza is writing a memoir.

Of the book which will be released in 2010, Piazza said:

“I look forward to having the chance to take people behind the scenes and to talk about the many great people and characters I’ve played with and for over the course of my career.”

Lincecum gets Cy Young

Haha I knew there was gonna be an unrelated comment about this. Anyone know the final tallies? I wonder where Santana landed.

How is this unrelated? Clearly, had Piazza not decided to write a memoir, Santan would’ve won the Cy Young.

Third. Webb finished second. I don’t mind that Lincecum won, but Webb finishing ahead of Santana is a joke.

Because he isn’t a big game pitcher or because he had crappy starts down the stretch?

dcmetsfan November 11, 2008 at 2:50 pm

Because he was inferior to both Santana and Lincecum in every single category but wins, which is a team statistic as much (if not more so) as it is an individual stat.

Any chance Sam Champion will be mentioned….

HAHAHA! That would make a great chapter!

That chapter would be in the back of the book.

I’m still hoping for the Ron Hodges memoir.
