The good thing is that we have many holes. I’d be more than happy to sign K-Rod, CC and Dunn and then trade Castillo for Vazquez, maybe Heilman and crew can get us an upgrade at C.

anybody who says this team (collective) is not better than the Phillies is crazy. Phils have barren system and 0 pitching.

FYI – they haven’t drafted to help in the near future

2008 – 3 hs OF followed by 3 hs SP
2007 – 1 college lefty (got pounded in High A coming off injury) and 2 hs INF
2006 – hs SP (Drabek – nowhere close), hs SS, college OF, SS

how about 2 – krod: 4/55 with option, wood 3/30

get it done and concentrate on that LF vacancy. I also like the idea of Dye or another team’s productive salary dump.

I think considering who is available who we are competing with for certain guys and how much money the team has this offseason is certainly there for the taking. Lets hope Omar and the Wilpons do what is best for the team.
