I can't stand the music either. If you so badly need to be entertained, go to Disneyland. A baseball game is a baseball game. If you find it "boring" to be at the game with no music, you're not really a fan anyways.

In regards to jimyager's comment. I like the "sounds" of the park as well, that's natural. 53 silly songs played during a game is ridiculous though.

Unfortunately, a baseball game isn't entertaining enough for the majority of people who attend. It will only get worse with the corporate Citifield.

Mex was, is, and will always be a golden god. The music and noise at the ballpark is annoying and insulting, especially after home runs.

The sound effects are just awful. The music is just awful. I like the Kevin James stuff thought. How about a Hammond Organ please.
I don't understand how the players can concentrate in the box when music is pumping and their names are being called.....

I, foe one, like all the "sounds" and music at the ballpark. It sets the tone and gets the crowd pumped up. If I wanted to watch the game in silence I would stay home and watch on tv :} All the music, fans, chanting, boo's and sounds are all part of the ambiance of the game and they are just as much a part of the game as the game is. The expierence of watching the METS play at Shea, or home, is much different that watching them play across town at Yankee Stadium. I do think that the METS need another song, Takin' Care of Buisness was great for the 2006 team, but, we have had two collapse seasons is a row and we need a new song. Any ideas? LETS GO METS !!!!!
