I imagine when the grapefruit league begins, Matt will do his usual graphics change to something spring training-ish. Then, opening day, something representing CitiField.

I hope they put in thicker turf on the right side of the infield so Castillo and Delgado can get to more grounders.

that gray area isn't seats, it's where the warning track dirt is gonna go. It goes around the whole stadium. It looks like there'll maybe be 3-5 feet of dirt in between the line and the stands...not much foul ground. I have a bad feeling this park isn't gonna be half the pitchers park we're all expecting.

there are no tiered pricing for season seats. they are a flat fee for every game. for example a $75 mid section 2nd deck seat in the outfield is $6075 a year.

I was thinking the exact same thing...the first/third base lines look like they will go right into the stands...

I agree...one hopes they know what they are doing. Dd I see those 880 WCBS chopper shots right? It looks like the new Skankee stadium has sod and the pitching rubber and plate, while they are still installing seats. CitiField, it seems, did it backwards (seats all in, sod laid in November.)
