My vote is for Garland. He is under 30 a 200 inning guy and will win about 13-15 games a year. We saw this season how important it is for a SP to give you inning. Next I would take O. Perez. Lowe I don't want because of his age and I a sure he is going to get more than 3 years at 14-15Mil a year, No Thanks. Wolf and Burnett I don't like either too much injury risk!
Garland or Perez I would offer both a 4/48 and sign who ever takes it first.

I think that I would rather have Ben Sheets than AJ Burnett.

When healthy, I think that Sheets is better.

Both are injury risks. Don't be fooled by Burnett's innings last year. Like a typical Boras client, Burnett put up his career best in K's and innings in his walk year.

I might argue that Sheets, when healthy, is the second best pitcher in free agency this year behind Sabathia. Also, Lowe is better than Burnett.

Go get Ben Sheets.

Maybe it's a joke to you, but in reality, they would do it.

Romo is 25/26 years old.

At this time last season, we traded a 22 yr old Milledge for 2 players. Church (29 at the time of the trade) Schneider (31).

Duaner is 29.
Heilman - 30
Feliciano - 32
Show - 35

No difference.

Besides, the Giants GM seems to be in love with veterans. And if he can fill 2 bullpen slots at the cost of 1, he'd do it.

No they wouldn't. And your logic is ridiculous. They're going to trade a young cheap good middle reliever for older, more expensive question marks? That makes absolutely no sense. Am I missing a joke somewhere here?

None of the Above.

Dempster, Burnett, Sheets before those three.

But what I really want is CC, Lowe or Peavy

I mentioned what I thought the yankees were gonna offer him...theres no chance the mets meet the 80 mil...agreed.

and all these deals will look good in Spring training...but this much money and these many years, we'll see what it looks like 3 years from now. they still dont have anyone before Rivera though.

"have u seen lowe against the phillies? look it up!!"

Yes, I have. Mind explaining your comment? I looked at his stats against the Phillies: 46 hits surrendered in 50.2 innings, 4 homeruns, 10 walks, a 3.02 ERA...this is supposed to be BAD against Philadelphia? Are you kidding? And would anyone care to take a look at his astronomical BABIP against the NL Central (remember, groundball pitchers are prone to fluctuations with BABIP), which would indicate poor luck rather than anything of his own design? Is he the savior of the rotation? Hardly. But I'd take him over any of the others you mentioned, especially A.J. "Injuries" Burnett.

if the Mets can get K-Rod and Lowe, get a setup man and get rid of castillo then the Mets will be a force to be reckoned with.

I mean the Mets lineup is pretty good now imagine sending Santana, Lowe and Pelfrey in a series.
