I would love to see Wiggy back! He could be a super utility type player. I could see him starting like 5 games a week between RF,LF,2B,1B and spelling Wright a few times here or there.
As for as Lee, I would LOVE to get him but I don’t really see how we would have the players to it done.
Valverde NO THANKS, K-Rod is going to be the closer anyway.

This team could use a player like Wigginton since he is a gamer. They could use a player like Orlando Cabrera, who is a gamer and could spell Reyes and whomever the 2nd basemen is. I still think I would put Delgado and Heilman into a package deal for pitching and wait for the ink to dry on Teixeira’s Mets deal to pull the trigger.

wiggy for castillo would be a no brainers. he’s a realiable alternative at 1B 2B 3B LF or RF in the event of injury. Even if he isn’t a starter, he would be very valuable as a sub for delgado & wright, who need occasional rest

plate discipline and pitch selection are often the difference between being a platoon player and being an every day effective ballplayer.

i completely agree with this sentiment. the guy is an implosion ready to happen every game. i loved wags, but this guy is the right handed version without the track record.
