I have not checked the stats, but I would guess that Schoe also has incredibly bad stats with inherited runners….he is horrid, and is my personal Slappy. I think Schoe in reality is worse than his stats show. Please, oh please, let him be gone.

The reason why Schoe gets more heat than Feliciano is because when Feliciano comes into a tight spot against a lefty, he usually gets the job done. Schoe comes into a tight spot and throws gasoline on the fire. When Schoe starts an inning in a low pressure situation, then he’s lights out.

Why would anyone listen to anything Aaron Heilman or his agent have to say. As far as I know, he is not eligible to be a free agent until after the 2010 season.

Any “Demand” he or his agent makes for a trade only undermines the Mets chances of trading him because teams now know that he wants out.

Also, after the season he just had he should shut his mouth knowing he is likely going to be traded anyway.

After these comments the Mets should let him rot away in Buffalo on the 40 man roster for the next 2 years, screw Aaron Heilman

go to baseball reference.com and look at his minor league numbers. The guy can hit for sure. In 2007 he had a .311 BA in AAA and last year he had a .315 BA. He has very little power but does not really SO much either.

exactly what I want to see. Unless they really think one of the system guys will be ready, try to get soemone like this.

Keep one of the vets if needed to split time.

note of course I have no idea who Morales is, but I like the concept!

I would look for a good deal now that can help the team. If not, then I would let him try out for the #5 starter during ST. If he does really well then you can revist the trade market or even keep him for that position depending on who the other candidates are. I am willing to bet that out of the gates he would do better than our other current options for #5.
