    Looks pretty awesome.

I really like how we have wrap around OF seats. I’ve always liked those in other stadiums, not to mention they’ll be affordable.

Kinda curious about the back rows of some of those tiers though, seams like the over-lying level will block a lot of the view.

How does the right field wall work? It appears hitting a home run in the area of the wall that juts back (right of the bullpens) will be awkward. Does the ball have to land in the upper outfield deck? Strange.

I don’t get how that staggered bullpen setup is going to work…

I mean, where are the relievers going to sit? The top bullpen seems like there’s room in the back but what about the front? Are the Mets relief pitchers going to be on bottom or top?

I hope the Mets are the inward one, more protected from fans, while the away team is subject to more verbal haras-sment from fans a la CBP.

There are probably seats for both in the back, but next to each other is kinda weird.

I wonder what they’ll put on that fence though, I as sume some form of padding. maybe not though.

  6. MoMoney25 says:

Does anyone know how high the fence will be? It looks pretty high, and it dips down.

looks kinda… boring and very staid without the technicolor seats. a bit tacky they were, but i will miss them.

We have kept the orange foul poles I see.

Wow…check out the legroom on those padded seats!!!

The Ballpark is great! But ,iI would like to know why they went with the green seats. I know m ost of the new parks use the dark blue or dark green. The dark blue would of been a much better choice. The Mets emblem on the green seat just does not go! Ok I am done nitpicking.

  13. psorlando says:

Does anyone know if the outfield walls will be painted?

this park is nasty i cant wait for it to open

I hate over hang. They have over hang.

I hate the J.R Rotunda!!! He is NOT A MET, and has nothing to do with the team. His and always will be a Bklyn Dodger. I know what he did was incredable and he should be honored. He alreay has the 42 retired, and they have that statue down in Coney Island. If anything it should be the Gil Hodges Rotunda, he WAS A MET!!

  17. ghobot says:

if i didnt know better, i would say that was safeco. even without the dome.

  18. gfabisevich says:

I’ve said that it reminded me of Safeco for a long time, but the surprising thing is that when Jeff Wilpon was interviewed about Citi, he said that he took ideas from all the stadiums except for Safeco, which was the only one he did not visit.
