Jon Heyman, David Lennon, Jerry Manuel and I will be guests during tonight’s Mets Hot Stove on SNY at 7 pm, hosted by Kevin Burkhardt.
…well, those are four names you don’t typically see in a row…
Call in and share your thoughts at 212-BUZZ-SNY, or submit a question to the show by clicking here.

Nice, good luck tonight..
maybe you can promote our GET TEIXEIRA MOVEMENT!!!
I second that, Matt. I feel so strong about it I started a blog to promote it.
Let’s Get Tex!
case street we should go and stand behind the window at the studio and have a sign that reads:
“IF WE WANNA WIN AGAIN, PLEASEGET TEX”
lol, i know, corny but you get the point..
great idea! If we could get a good size group I’d be down! The Let’s Get Brett rally worked.
LETS GO!!
ok, i can be there around 7pm..
i’m sure the guys there can follow up the voice!!
Being in Boston (not getting SNY) I’m not familiar with the format of the show, are you all guests at the same time, or is it throughout the show?
Either way, sounds awesome, good luck.
It’s the host (Kevin Burkhardt) with two other guys sitting next to him. Like David Lennon and someone else. Then, normally it would be other guests that appear throughout the show.
Thanks.
That makes sense…manuel isn’t going to be sitting there all show…
If we get tex….then wow!!! am hoping minaya could find a way to bring tex here if not ramirez would be good along with k-rod i would enjoy k-rod closing a game out versus the phillies!
DEAR MATT:
YOU ARE OUR VOICE IN THE BLOG… PLEASE SAY THAT 78% OF US WOULD LIKE OMAR TO BRING #25 HERE…
I really like your opening that has you and Ted Berg holding hands and running through a field of flowers singing “So Happy Together”.. good stuff!
Matt, was that you and Berg sharing a pretzel over by the giant toy train 10 minutes ago?
Two things…
1. Tex? Great idea.
2. When should I start printing “Cerone ‘12!” t-shirts?
According to the NY Post…
The Rays offered Chad Bradford to the Mets because $3.5 million is too much in Tampa’s world for a set-up man, and Ray officials were shocked when the Mets told them it is too much for them, as well.
Bradford pitched to a 2.12 ERA between Baltimore and Tampa last season. Pitching for the Red Sox, Mets, Orioles and Tampa over the past four seasons, Bradford has worked to a 2.92 ERA. He does not strike out many, just 101 in 209 1-3 innings, but he also does not walk many (48).
The $3 million for Chad Bradford is too rich for this supposed “Big Market Team’s” blood. Just like I’ve been saying all along. Everything you hear this offseason confirms the cheap, penny pinching ways of our lousy owner.
