has anyone read mushnick’s column?
Doomed to repeat history?
I think he means the Collapse.
I think that if the mets get 1 or 2 Quality guys that they will be fine. There is still no better pitcher in baseball then Johan. Pelfrey looked like a rising star finally last year. Maine is still a nice #3. If you Match that rotation up with a #4&5 of any of the mentioned guys (Garland/Sheets/Wolf/Sonny/Jackson) I think they match-up well with any rotation in the NL, with the exception of maybe the Cubs, and the top 2 of Arizona.
I am actually worried about the offense a little. I hope Church can play 150 games. And if he isn’t traded Delgado plays more like Delgado from All-Star break one then Pre-break. There is still the hole at 2nd, and LF that need to be addressed (maybe one by Murph-dog).
Monday can’t come soon enough for me.
