Rats. My cell service (US Cellular) isn’t included.

    • I *think* it will still work, by just selecting any carrier.

      • Giaco says:

How about a Mets Blog mobile site???

Right now, Mets Blog takes SO long to load on my treo.

      • MeesesGlokmah says:

Ok, thanks. I’ll try it and see if I get anything when the first text comes out.

And I must say, as a fellow Matt, it is an honor to have you reply to one of my comments. To me, you are in the upper echelon of Matts in this world, simply because I consider you “the” Mets expert and I love your work.

And no, I’m not being sarcastic. In all seriouness, you are like a celebrity to me.

  2. Wow guys, you’re really upgrading the website :o

Is it possible to get this done as an e-mail thing? I get my e-mails pushed to my phone, but I don’t have unlimited text messages…

  6. DaN22CaP says:

Matt so if i have free unlimited text messaging this is free?

  9. Lifestylez says:

If you receive unlimited text messages as part of your subscription from your carrier, will there be any additional charges if you want to receive these alerts?

  10. capt32c5 says:

How do you turn it off when you are done?

  11. benje309 says:

    Matt-
Are you working with a particular company with these text alerts/building a mobile metsblog.com? I know a company that does only text messaging and other mobile-based services. They have worked with Guinness, as well as other major companies. I can email you the contact information if you are interested.

  12. PromRsvd says:

    Matt,

You sure this option is free with unlimited.

Great piece last night on SNY. Keep em coming.

  13. Metfan2987 says:

    Matt, I have a question.

If I get it, and decide after having it for a while that I don’t want it anymore, how do I reverse it?

    Thanks!

  14. chasmets says:
