Knee jerk spending of money on the big names, as oppsoed to rising talent that will make the team better. somwhow I don't see replacing say castillo and Pedro with marquis and hudson (for jsut as much $$) as making theteam better. maybe just different. stay away from old guys with injuriy histories. man I am lost with this new structure!

They don't even seem interested in him. He wouldn't be THAT expensive (probably not more than Castillo cost). Am I missing something here? He looks like a young stud that could pitch the 7th, 8th, maybe even be a closer, if somebody got hurt. These are the non-moves that always haunt us. Like I thought we should have signed Lowe (last free agency) and Soriano when they became free agents.
