Note: Comments Section, Header and E-Mail
The comment section on MetsBlog will be different this week, i.e., no threaded comments, and only 50 comments per page.
Traffic increases nearly 200 percent during the Winter Meetings.
By changing the comments section to this format, it will allow the overall site to load more quickly, and be more stable through any traffic outbursts.
Thank you for understanding.
Additionally, below the site’s header you will see five links titled Starting Pitcher, Relief Pitcher, Catcher, Second Base and Outfield, i.e., the five positions the Mets are likely to be focused on. These links will go to a specific one sheet, that will house all rumors for that position as they are written during the day.
The bulk of information, including my own observations and insights will appear on the main page, per usual. However, since I will be making lots and lots of posts, with information moving so fast, if you tuned out for a while, you can click the above links and catch up all in one place. Think of this as a ‘The Least You Need to Know’ type of feature.
Lastly, if you send me an e-mail, there is a good chance I do not respond until next week. This is a super-busy time of year, and my focus is 100 percent on the Hot Stove.
I apologize, but appreciate your understanding.
